New Swadhyay Group
The Jain
Center Board has decided to start a Swadhyay class for beginning adults
under the direction of Mrs. Swatee Kalamkar at the Jain Center.. Both
Hindi and Gujurati will be used in the class. There are two
classes available: one on Wednesday evening at 7:45pm and another on
Sunday morning at 10:00am. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
The Sunday morning class will be held at the same time as the children
pathshala classes. To join, please call Swatee

Society Activities
Our temple is located at the 538 Apollo Road in Richardson and is a self-contained Chaityalya now adopted and promoted as
a model by JAINA. Our facility contains a library,
prayer, meeting hall, a kitchen and a pathshala room.
This facility is open every Saturday and Sunday around noon or can be accessed
by lockbox key or by contacting any JSNT Board Member.
If you open the door using the lock box key, please
make sure that all doors are locked when you leave the premise and be
sure to put keys back in the lock box.
Regular temple activities include: a Digambar Puja &
Swadhyay (11:00 am) every first Sunday,
a board meeting (11:00 am) every second Sunday, a general meeting
(10:30 am) every third Sunday and a Snatra puja (11:00 am) every fourth
Sunday. Bhavana & Stavan satsang is held every first
Sunday evening (7:30 pm) of the month. The Swadhaya and Dignitary lectures are
generally planned in summer/ fall times of the year.
Pathshala classes for all three youth groups are held Sunday mornings
for the following age groups: 14 and older (Group 3), 9 and younger
(Group 1), and ages 9-14 (Group 2). Pathshala begins PROMPTLY at
10:00. Please bring your child on time. For more information, you

Swadhyay groups in Hindi and in Gujarati meet every week at the temple.
The Gujarati Swadhyay group meets on Monday and Wednesday, while the
Hindi Swadhyay group meets on
Tuesdays and Thursdays. Also, we hold Pratikaman the first Monday
